i have a flat bed and want to see if i can swap it to a dump. i was comparing two at the dealer today and see no reason why not, the frame is the same right down to the gas lift strut mount point. i am thinking so many on the west side of the country strip em down someone may have one they are willing to part with.

Oh, cool. I thought the flatdeck was a welded part?? Does the dump bed just bolt on instead of a flat bed?? Why would somebody remove the dump bed? What do they put in place of it?
Sorry, I know you're just tryin to find a dump bed, but I really am curious, besides, it keeps your initial post on the new post listing!! LOL

i have seen quite a few on the west coast where, basically they are stripped to the frame and new body panels fabricated to make them lighter and more desert friendly. i guess they are racers. oh yea, the flat bed is just a bolt on, i had head they were different but after looking at many they appear to be the same.
