I would bet that Sandchris has a formula for this one.

Sounds like we need to set up some drag racing time trials. ....for research purposes only, of course.

I think a stop watch and some arm dropping will work.

Naw - its so hard to see exactly when you hit 60 mph when you are driving, then much less hit the stop watch. Plus having someone else on board with you to do it will only slow you down...

Anyone with an iphone can download the accelerometer appplcation and just to it right from their phone. It automatically senses movement starts the clock, then hits the stopwatch for you when you hit the desired MPH....

But alas i have a blackberry...

maybe ill get this... http://www.savinglots.com/lotprod.asp?item=MATRIX

Ok so I got the accelerometer but alas it only does a 0-60 time and 1/4 mile. i was thinking I could adjust to 0-30, 0-40 and so on but no...

Ok so this weekend im going to find a nice clear LOOONG strech of road and try out this 0-60 and 1/4 miles using this neat little wireless accelerometer...

Anyone have any guesses of what the 0-60 time and 1/4 mile times/trap speed will be?
