Ron Woods makes a dual exhaust for the XTZ. it takes some new mapping. The Pro Shop has this dialed in now.

It has got to be 5-8 hp i would think.From what i have heard those things are so corked up from the factory.

I would think i should of gained a bunch more hp, thats why i want to hit the dyno one more time and make some adjustments to the fuel controller.
I have talked to a few knowledgeable owners of the XTZ and we kind of aggree that the engine seems to loose a little hp once it has been riden for a while. I did overheat mine pretty good and blow a few head gaskets, so maybe I need to freshen up the top end?

Maybe you need to push on the gas a little harder?
I got a feeling when it cools down you might think it is running like it's old self again.Ambient air temp will make it seem a little sluggish. Maybe you need to have a leak down test done and compression check to make sure everything is good with the top end? |

Yep, I will do the compression check etc.. for sure. I want one more shot at the dyno first just to make sure its not some simple adjustments.
