Arctic Cat acknowledges a problem with the park brake. Sort of....
Well Arctic Cat mailed me a letter stating that through testing they have found a few cases where the parking brake being left on a few clicks can cause damage to the rear brake rotor etc... Their fix is a sticker that has a warning to lift up on the handle as you press the button. RUFKM! Arctic Cat this is your fix. What a joke. Step up to the plate and take some accountability for the problems that exist with your vehicles and fix them. Don't send me a sticker because your lawyers said this is the easy and cheap way. What about the families and kids out there that ride in your vehicles. Are you not concerned about their safety? MY god wake up and get a clue!
I don't have a scanner other wise I would post the letter for everyone to see.

that is a pretty weak response to say the least. But it is what I have come to expect from AC.

I received mine on Saturday and it immediately found its way in the trash. I agree, they took the ultra cheap route on this. My letter did say something like 'if left on for an extended period of time, it may cause a fire.'

Interesting how they say on the letter it only goes up to a certain vin number. Does this mean they fixed the problem on the vin numbers after that one? If so what did they do and why are they not recalling all of these to fix it?
