You definitely want to beef the upper A-Arm mounts. Installing tubing inside the upper chassis tubes helps (front and rear). And the A-Arm brace kit the UTVCrap has helps quite a bit.
Plating the lower A-Arm can help too, but I wouldn't worry too much about that unless you plan on taking some hard hits on the suspension. Most of the damage I've seen on XTZs comes from the frame dimpling during hard landings.
I can't say enough about how good the Kings are, but the are other companies that I would give a shout out to. FOA Shocks custom builds shocks to your specs. And their pricing is pretty good. The Fox Racing Shocks are excellent, but again, pretty pricey. I've heard some good things about Walker Evans also, but not as popular as the Fox or Kings. One shock I really don't like is the Elkas. Some say that they don't need the piggyback reseviours, but I think that if you are going to take repeated hits, either on tree-root filled trails or desert, you need the piggybacks. The King and Fox have the same 2.0 bodies that the Elkas have and don't fade.
The XTZ shocks themselves are good with a change over in spring rates. Call Eibach or a good dealer for them, with your A-Arm dimensions, weight of the total machine with riders and driving style, they can suggest what you need. If you aren't going to run it hard, the stockers probably will suffice with the springs switched out.
