It shouldn't be much more then $149.99 for a complete axle. I am paying about the same for a brand new XTZ 1000 rear axle assembly complete from Chris at EAAC. I have bought about 4 of these to make parts.

highlifter has a new axel out, called the dht. double heat treated or something. was at mud nationals last weekend, they had one cut open so you could see the guts. looked to be really beefy in the cage. but i have not heard any results from them yet.

as far as the axle goes, seems like they are trying a new way of heat treating. may not be new, but new the the world of atv axles. someone that knows more about metal can chime in. something to do with treating the outer shell for wear, and inner metal for strength.

mud nats however i do know about. we had a great time. the prowlers were flawless. probably a little different from what most of you are used to. had a commander limited and a 900 xp rzr go to deep and got water in everything. also have a couple pics of the big cats fishing them out. lots of deep mud, good easy trails, and best of all funnel cake.

Pic man pics! I love to see the kitty cats pulling others out. Theres not many in my group that can follow me Speaking of axles, what do you know about/think about the rhino brand axle? I've read good and a little bad. Thinking bout going with them when the factory ones start breaking. 169.95 sounds SO much better than the 349.95 per axle that gorilla wants. I had a guy that custom builds rzr's recommend the rhinos to me. Said alot of the gorilla hype is just that... hype. And not worth the extra money. Whats' your opinion?

For the guys breaking CV Joints... where are the cv joints breaking on you? Are the housings cracking or the inner components are breaking on you?

The cv cages are the problem.
