DragonFire Racing Team Green Kawasaki Teryx Wins Baja 500
DragonFire Racing Team Green Kawasaki Teryx win the Baja 500. Winning Baja in no small task, and I would like to personally thank my Sponsors, Team Green Kawasaki, Fox Racing Shox's, ITP Tires and Wheels, Gear One and Redline Webber. It is with their support and the support of my Family, Friends, Fans and DragonFire Staff; we were able to but the DragonFire Racing Team Green Kawasaki Teryx across the finish line first. Special thanks go out to my pit Crew. We had 4 chase trucks this year. Chase 1: Darren and John, Chase 2: the Bi Polar Team lead by Jim Creegan, Chase 3: on the Dry Lake Bed Kevin, and Chase 4: Rasp, Erick, Jeff, and Fugi, also to my wife and DD for watching the IRC tracking and providing updates all day.
This race would not have been successful without the determination of my two Drivers Reid Nordin and Hans Waage. We had one issue with a rear upright at RM 190 that cost us 3 hours to drive in and repair, but beyond that the race was flawless.
This year we used three new DragonFire Products on the Car, things we learned from the 1000 and these changes made the car run fast and cool all day. We used our Canister air system, new EFI and oiling system, as well as new Alternator design. Special thanks to Darren for coming up with the design of these new products, and understanding what it would take to have our cars cross the finish line.
Darren was also instrumental in prepping my Class 1 car; we had a flawless race until RM 423, just a few miles from the finish. We had an electrical failure that stopped the car. We battled between 3rd and 5th all day, the guys from COPS, Park House, the Herbst's, Danzio and Lettner's made it a great battle all the way to the finish. I drove the entire race with Jack Mc Cormick at my side keeping me motivated throughout this 8 hour battle. Several times battling with our Trophy Truck Team that had a brake line get cut off at RM 20 that put him back with the Class 1 cars all day, and was able to still finish 10th in TT. Great Job Pistol for keeping the truck out front and brining her home.
Pre Run Pictures and Race Stories will be posted at http://blog.dragonfireracing.com/
Thanks for the support and See you at LOORS in a few weeks.
Todd Romano

We do all sorts of racing and make products for the Prowler as well in fact the XTZ is one of my favorite cars we have done here. This is more so for the people who are into desert racing and to thank all of those who have helped us get across the finish line. Plus it only takes one Baja experience for you to become a life long fan. Winning Baja and doing it in good time just helps advance the sport of side by sides by getting people stoked on what can be done with them. Believe it or not many people still think these things are golf carts HAHA. Below is a prowler we built that you may start to soon see in desert and short course racing alike.

I have invited all vendors who support Arctic Cat with products to come to this site and post up their products and their accomplishments.
Its not meant to lesson or take away from the Prowler name. We are and always will be about helping the Prowler owners in any way we can.
I hope you don't leave, maybe just skip the threads that do not interest you.

I really not sorry that I am loyal to a certain Brand ARCTIC CAT but I did not want to hear about the other brands, it does not make sense to start a site Called Prowler Talk .com and invite other brands and have venders post their wares. Also in closing I hope to find a site or I will start one for ONLY people who own Artic Cat Prowlers. With that take Care. Joe

Arctic Cat beat our Teryx in the 1000. Most of the products we ran on our Teryx such as suspension, We offer for the Prowler as well. I have been a Cat fan my whole life I grew up in Washington riding Cat sleds I have an 07 M7 now and I love it. In no way am I trying to take anything away from AC. I just wanted to show people that we are good at what we do for UTV's and we got the Race record to prove it.

Hey Joe,
Why don't you just not read the post? I enjoy desert racing and Dragonfire supports the hobby across the board. I can also choose not to click on the thread (imagine that) or read it.. You can go hang out at arcticcat.com if you only want ac stuff...
..man another jacka$$ moving to AZ...great....

I see your point, But an Arctic Cat board should be for that brand only ,from what I can see you have GREAT products. But the way things are some of us cant pay the prices. That may not mean anything to some people. Its is great that you support this site but I think it is best to stick to Arctic Cat info only. Thank You for listening to my feelings.
