Stereo in prowler 700 xtx turns of when I rev engine

I installed a car stereo in my prowler a few weeks ago but every time I rev the engine the stereo will shut off or reset and then comes right back on untill I rev engine again .. I have been installing car stereos in vehicles for a long time now but never in a side by side ..I've checked every wire ,every connection , the charging system and even the stereo it's self . And everything seams ok. I just need to know what to do to fix this problem . I've talked to artic cat dealers and was told the charging system should run a stereo and other accessories just fine. Any help would be great.

Try running another ground from your neg side on your battery to the frame.factory only grounds to the clutch cover..just a thought i had a lot of gauge flickering until i did that

Will a duel battery set up do anything to fix my problem also ? I keep hearing a lot about them but not sure how that would help.

Sure sounds like a voltage drop, if the radio either shuts off, or resets. Doe's your radio have over voltage protection? I'd check your voltage at start up, idle, and when you rev it up, I'm guessing anything under 9.5 volts will impact your radio. Should see 14.5-15 volts while running, mine will drop to 12 volts when I turn everything on, but recovers quickly. What condition is your battery in?

I would give the ground a try.I run a volt gauge and it reads around 15.3 volts when running.
