so the repairs to the XTZ

well told you guys how the XTZ was running like crap before I left for the month long trip to the great Northwest ... went to Olympic National Park in the very NW corner of Washington state , then over to my old stomping grounds in the panhandle of Idaho .. an hour south of Coeur d'Alene , to a friends river lot with a ton of riding right out of camp ...

In route to the park went through Spokane Wa and dropped off the A/C for the needed repairs.

did a total servicing as it had been sitting for a long time , near 2 years do to moving here and wedding bla bla bla .... turned out the fuel pump was dead and wouldn't give it enough fuel to close the decelerator [aka compression release] on the front cylinder walla power was back and runs good now . that part was well over $500 plus install and tracking down the issue diagnosing it.

the dummies [or better said overly safe] tech guy even reset my toe as it was way out of spec LOL
factory toe is 1/4" out .. yup believe it or not it's set to scrub a set of tires in 1500 miles I know I did it .. so I need to take it back to 1/8" in and get the good steering and handling back also not to mention tire wear.

anyway all is well on the A/C now , just need to start exploring around here in between the camp trips and such .. might head down to Arizona this next winter [January probably ] to ride and stay warm .. same friends who own the river lot go there as snow birds each year .. in the area down near Hover Dam .. Parker to be exact a bit south and east of the dam . if I do it will be at least a month again ,,, lots to do n see in the area. some of the area's there swell from almost zero population to several thousands [well over 5000] snow birds show there every year .. ever hear of Quartzite [sp?] Az. same area. The London Bridge is also near there

I looked up Quartzsite on Google Maps and it says it's a cool 101 degrees there right now and just a few hours from me
