A few ?s

For you guys that have put in radios. Is the stock alt enough to keep the batter charged? How bout if you add a winch? Is is still strong enough? And how have you been wiring all this in? The radio that is. The winch is pretty much straight forward. Thanks for any help.

I have to put a battery maintainer on in the winter when I use the winch a lot while plowing. Other than that, no problems.

There should be extra wires under your dash to connect your radio.

I put a radio and amp in mine. I put two wiring blocks,(- +) directly from the battery to the firewall and have wired numerous lights and the stereo to them. So far the alt. has been keeping up. I use the stereo while ice fishing and it still has enough battery to start after a few hours. If it doesn't mine has a recoil start on it. It's a SOB to pull over but it's there.
