Electrical failure

Went riding yesterday and ended up getting towed home! That sucked! Suspect bad ignition switch as it acts as the key is shut off! Time to start checking.........................! Any thoughts?

"thoughts" .... Hmmmmm suggest you fix the issue before you go for a ride again ... it's hell to have to pull it around with a harness

I start with grounds , as many times thats been where I found the culprit

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

I'm sure you checked the ignition fuse, first. Here again, that Havoc looks perty appealing!

Jumped the ignition switch and had power, new switch ordered. Wonder how the Havoc will sell?

im sure the 957cc version would compete just under honda prices but if rumors are true about their 120 hp 850 cc turbo package... im sure that one could be some top $$$$

Back on the electrical issues! So got the Prowler running, but now blowing the 10 amp mini fuse! I was somewhat surprised when I tracked the 10 amp circuit out! The auxiliary plug under the dash is on the 10 amp fuse, Fuel injector, coil, brake light switch, fan relay, neutral safety switch, and fuel relay are all on the same circuit! I changed my fuel injector back to stock, and that helped, but still blowing fuses but not as rapidly! Next I changed out the coil, again it helped. Next up is switching my gages to a dedicated circuit. Only good thing about this is that I'm learning more about a Prowler!
