I run a yellow top optima but the stock battey in my XTZ was not to bad. You should be ok with 2 driving lights and the stock battery. The Stator has a fair amount of power so I wouldn't worry about rewinding it just yet. What is the amp draw listed on the lights you are running? That matters a lot. Turn your lights on with your Cat running and see if the lights are dim and get brighter with more throttle. If so probably to much draw on the system. I am running a lot of stuff on my cat and have not done a thing to the stator and so far it seems to be working well. We have a few guys on the forum that are very good with electrical so let's see what they have to say. Keep us posted.
