My question is how do you plan on seeing if the light is behind your plow? You want to mount it high and aimed down.

I did the same as Bryan, I used a 20" basic bar mounted just under the roof overhang and was more than enough light.

A light bar on the bumper works great for riding in dusty/snowing conditions. Like the guys said it's no good for plowing. First when you raise the plow it reflects all the light back at you. Second the large shadow is right in front of the plow.

For Plowing I would get a light bar for the roll cage/roof. (7"-12" bar or 2-4 cubes) You will see better and you are safer as others can see you.

My lightbar clamps interfere with the windshield a little. When I get some time to tinker with it, I will make a different mount or something.
