Battery Polarity Backwards

Hello Everyone,

I was adding a second battery to my 06 prowler and accidentally reversed the polarity while connecting the battery terminals. I had the first battery removed. Now nothing electrical works. I quickly checked SOME of the fuses and they were ok. I didn't have a multi-meter to check the diodes. Does anyone know what I might have damaged?

Check to see if you are getting power past your solenoid with the key on.

That is the first thing I would check.
Looked up price you are looking at about $25 if that is it.

I have a complete harness with cdi, voltage reg. ect... for a 08 650xt you might be interested in if it is more than just the solenoid that burned. cdi or voltage regulator are the spendy items.
