save yourself some time and just go l.e.d., i have 5 hids on my rig and after 45 minutes of running at night the battery is dead and the volt lights start flashing at you, and thats if i just run my 3 7" lights, if i have all 5 plus my headlights on i get maybe 20 minutes before i have to turn em off to recharge.

09 xtx- custom fox 2.0 air shocks- bighorn tires- custom paint- 4 seat cage built by me- soft top- twisted stitch seats- half doors- intake built by me- magnaflow exhaust built by me- carillo 4 point harnesses all around- 5 h.i.d.'s- clutch kit- dynatek- no more turf saver...tig welded now- 2" wheel spacers- ss-212 rims in black-

Second that! HID's suck some serious power! You best bet would be to get one of the smaller LED light bars (IMO). I wasn't going to go LED because I thought I would have to buy on of those 30" LED light bars for $1,000.. but a buddy of mine bought this one Brightt 10" 8 LED Light Bar Adjustable 8W 80W 7000 Lumen UTV | eBay . It's an "off-brand" but he's had it for a year and it works great. I will be ordering one soon.

But if I were you I would just get this one http://www.ebay.com/itm/Rigid-RGDL50...8ef3dd&vxp=mtr . LOL

I know man... that's insane.. I'm sure you realized I was joking. I sometime ride with a guy that lives up the road from me. He and his family all own coal-mines in Kentucky. So when he runs out of toilet paper he just opens his wallet and uses $20's! Anyway, he bought one of those things. $4,000! I think he's out of his flippin mind but let me tell ya.. riding the trail at night if he's in back none of us in front need healights! It's about ridiculous! I would never do it no matter how much $ I had.

I have Xentec HID's that I purchased from Joe on here. No problems so far. I'm running them in both my low and hi beams. If you go HID, contact Joe. I also purchased custom mounting brackets for them from Seth (Desertcat). I have some pictures posted somewhere. I'll try and find them and post them.

I had to take out my HID lights as well. My fuel pump could not get enough voltage and provide the increase in fuel pressure that is needed when I am in boost. I went back to stock lights in the front with my led lights on top. My battery would go from 12.8 volts at idle to 9.7 volts just from one set of HID replacements. Stick to led and you will be happy.

2009 Prowler XTZ 1000 with a few modifications. Needs paint & powder coating.
