my xtz running like cap backfire and says volt on read out help please

took my xtz in bass pro been in there two weeks they told me my battery was bad so they put a new one in there they said the stator is charging 14 volts and they said grounds are good taking it back tomorrow what do you guys think it might be oh andmthe dash goes dead and no power to fuse box Im stumped

You said they checked the stator but what about the regulator?

If it is bad you might want to consider changing both if your warranty is out. Cause a lot of times if one goes bad it makes the other go bad. And I am talking about the voltage regulator and stator. Your issue sounds like it could be a coil as well.

Took it into the dealer the mechanic said he has never seen the volt message on a artic cat before makes me wonder if he knows what he is doing i had to jump start it today to get it loaded then the darn thing ran fine crazy thing

I don't think that mechanic will be much help if he has never heard or seen the word volt in the cluster before.

I secound that also check the connecter for the voltage regulater its common for them to melt maybe it making and breaking contact.

Yea Im little worried because there the only artic cat dealer in tulsa
