These things are known for rear brake noise the pads rattle on the caliper. One of the quick fixes Arctic Cat tried was installing springs but it didn't help much. There are a lot of threads on rear brake noise and some have removed the driveline brake and installed 4-wheel disk brakes.

Welcome aboard! If i am understanding it right you hear some noise when step up the throttle? If it is so, i got same problem and i dont know where the noise is coming from! Are you sure that it is coming from rear brake pads?

Sounds to me like it may be your one way bearing if you are talking about decel noise without using your brakes.

I could hear mine chatter when slowing down without hitting the pedal or lightly pressing the pedal, hit it hard and it would stop.

If you need a free repair manual you download one at the link below, I don't think they have one for the 2006 but the 2007 should work.
