XTZ console R&R

Have any of you found an easy way to remove the center console without fighting that rubber strip around the E-Brake lever?

I've come close to throwing away so many time I've lost count

nope I haven't , but have run without it several times [in winter only .. too much heat for summer] .. it is a PIA for sure !!

use my Snap On radiator hose hook tool to remount it and that makes it a lil easier, but still what a poor design.

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

I often wondered if the parking brake handle made it more difficult to pull the dog house. Think I'll leave my E-Brake where it is at! Foot pedal! May change the angle of the pedal, it seems to high stock. Easy to do small v cut, re-weld.

Pulling it isn't the issue, it's getting the stupid thing back on that's a pain.

May just go with a line lock and eliminate the handle.

Got to remove mine again, didn't realize one of the boots interiors had broken into several pieces when I checked the plugs.

Get to go to the dealer early in the morning instead of heading to the trails early in the morning
