quieter ride

Thanks to Frank I lined my engine cover today. Got rid of alot of the noise and I never felt the cover get warm to the touch today. Thanks again Frank.quieter ride-momo-008.jpg

I got that from sneakysnake. Its a foam type insulation covered with aluminum tape.

looks like dynamat. Insulation used in cars for sound dampening.

I'm not sure what it's called. It's about 1/2 inch thick, has to be glued on. Pretty easy to work with as long as you cut it into small pieces. I had a 2'x2' booboo on my first try, luckily he sent me extra.

Thanks to you and your idea. simple but affective I ordered acusamat today from my local Parts source for a sheet 36" x 60" of it cost 70 bucks plus tax. Any thing will help tone the noise down.

Thanks for coming up with the idea.

I use Dynamat bought it on Ebay alot cheaper than retail.
