2008 Prowler 650 No start after running with no issues

Ok, I am super stumped on this one. I was riding with a friend today and went through a water hole nothing crazy and I heard him yell so I turned around to see what was going on and shut the utv off. I listened to what he had to say and went to start it back up and nothing. And this was after riding 30-40 mins with no issues no hickups nothing.
So heres what I have done.
Changed spark plug
checked to make sure the timing chain hasn't jumped teeth
I put a spark tester on it but it did light up just very dim
it has fuel so I know its got to be a spark issue.

What are my nexts steps to figure this out ?

Check your sparkplug boot, they come apart internally after age! Mine disaggregated in my hand. They screw on the plug wire so don't pull it off! It may just need cleaned and reseated on the wire. That's my thought for the day, others will jump in shortly!

Ok I checked the boot it looks good and everything sees solid. Also I snipped the wire down a tad to make sure here was a good connection before screwing in back on. Still no luck

I've pulled the coil out and checked the connector looks good. I did do some testing with the Multimeter and got these readings.
Primary - 1.6ohm
Secondary - around 10000 ohms

Not sure of the specs on the particular coil but these seem off

Ok I just went and put the stock coil back on and tried to start it. Nothing but a backfire that about scared the crap out of me after 5-8 seconds of turning it over
