2011 Prowler HDX

Well I just got the brochure with the new Prowler being unveiled, and it's going to disappoint a lot of you because it is not a sporty one, in fact it's more heavy duty. Its a neat machine, a good direction for the utility side of things, but they need to unveil their sporty one. This one is a 700 with a bench seat, power steering, Fox float shocks that enable you to adjust air pressure for different loads, 10" longer wheelbase, 10" longer completely, a larger dump bed with the ability to remove the sides and make a flatbed, and storage boxes under the bed in front of the rear tire. They have also put safety nets on the entry points.

Yea we just got the info to, they will sell great for us because most of our customers are farmers and they all buy popos, just hope they don't cost $14,000.00. Now just got to get rid of the 550s!!

Not sure when it will be on the website. I am afraid they will price them too high because the popo with power steering is 12,599 and we should not be higher then them or we will have trouble selling them. I have had a lot of people wanting bench seat so that will be good.

My source told me something way different. The total 2011 unveiling is going to be in August, but the sporty version will not be ready. He said they have some pretty good prototypes that blow the rzr away. All he said is it should be ready within a year. my bet would be a January unveiling from what he said, but I hope Airdam is right we need the sporty one SOON.

i know for a fact they have the prototypes built, and have had them for over a year, and they are wicked fast and crazy with awesome suspension. i've heard rumors from my guys that they have something coming out in a few weeks, but it could be a sport bike, and not the sport prowler. i am unsure but i know the RZR killer has been in the works for well over a year, and we should have something to see son i hope.

my source said they have two different motor options, both are V-twins though!!! a 740ish cc v=-twin and the Tcat 1000cc V-twin. i was told the smaller twin wound up super quick and made almost as much power as the T-cat motor did!!! i'm excited and as long as they keep the same style clutches and put 3.1 gears in the differentials i can still make them do 100mph!!!! i want one BADLY!!!!
