There is need for them. The 2018 Cat sure is impressive! Should put them back in the game! HP has been the biggest drawback on the Wildcats, but being priced lower than other brands has helped!

I wonder if the new 3 cylinder motor is the same as the one used in the Yamaha YXZ?

'09 650XT H1, 72" Eagle Plow, Warn 3500 Winch. Dyna CDI box, UNI filters, A/C V-bag and console, EPI lift kit, Highlifter springs, Scat ProCar suspension seats. Rick the Rockets A frame and shock bushings. 28x12X14 Raceline Bruisers on Vision rims, on all corners. Cowling heat vents. Factory heat and defrost. RD's custom alternator kit. XTZ hood scoop and front shocks. Monster shock covers, turn signals. OEM glass sport windshield, sliding rear window, and hardtop.

I like the way it's driven from the engine. I wonder if we can do similar. Machine a hole in the plastic cover to install a seal,make up a short shaft extension, mount pully. Just thinkin out loud.

That is what they did on the Prowler XTZ kit. I understand there was problems with the drive pulley staying tight on the shaft. On the 700, the mag cover is plastic, it would not need a seal (I've never seen any trace of oil) at this point. Getting an adapter made up should not be an issue at any good machine shop. The threads are all right hand. It may be something worth looking at!

You could drive a alternator off the drive shaft. DON~~~
