Stoneman Lake to Meteor Crater Ride Tomorrow Sat 6/5

Thinking about doing this ride tomorrow. This was posted on Riding Arizona. Anyone interested in a last minute ride.

Here is the link.

Saturday Ride ,..Stoneman Lake to Meteor Crater - RidingArizona.com

Request Reminder for this Event 06/05/10
*The times shown may change, depending on DST settings
Who's Invited: Everyone's Invited
Distance: 50+ Miles
Speed: Average
Stage here N34 45 55.4 W111 32 41.1 at 6:30am ride by 7:00am
Milage 120 + miles

Copy and paste the blue coordinates into Google maps for drive time and distance from your location to the stage area...

Elevations range from 8,000 to 5,600 feet

Leave stage,... ride around Stoneman Lake then to Kinninick Lake to Long Lake to Chavez Pass Rd then a beeline on Chavez Pass Rd to Meteor Crater.

From Meteor Crater north to Two Guns, to south on Buffalo Range Rd for 10 miles to west on forest roads towards Morman Lake then south to the trucks

This is the plan,.....plans change for various reasons, road closures, private property, no trespassing signs, break downs,.. it's an Adventure, be prepaired.

Bring fuel for 150 miles, we may be able to get fuel at the Crater $$$$,...but I would just bring my own

We should have plenty of time during the ride for breaks, sight seeing, picture taking.

Make sure you and your ride are ready, bring plenty of drinking water snacks,..lunch on the trail

Sign up for a fun ride in some cooler weather
