whats the hose for...

Took my pipes off to snorkel and found a rubber hose coming from the side of the carb behind the idle adjuster. It came out of the carb and went down and was zip tied into a loop and hooked to the tranny vent tubes. The end wasn't hooked to anything. Shouldn't it be?

I checked the manual and it said it was a carburetor drain hose, I would say it is to drain your bowl of gas before you remove it. Most carbureted engines have them.

I was afraid it was supposed to be plugged into the airbox somewhere. Thanks for checking!
