Valve cover

So as you can see in the pic, my airbox support is rubbing on the valve cover. Is this a known or common problem? Do I need to look at replacing the motor mounts? It only has 500ish miles.

Is the air box support loose or bent? Motor mounts are pretty ridged, but check to see if your motor will rock side to side. Thinking AC uses aluminum bushings for the motor mount.

The bolts were not loose. The motor mounts feel solid. I can not wiggle the engine by hand.

Bent? maybe it doesn't look bent, but I don't know what it's suppose to look like. I took the angle grinder to the lip to get a few mm's and then the pry bar to get a few more mm's away from the valve cover.

I'll keep and eye on it.

I know mine was super tight and almost touching (too close for my liking) so I bent mine out of the way away from the cover.
Firecat likes this.
