Any idea on what this button was?

Just got what I believe is a 2008 650 H1, this button is broke. Can anyone tell me what it was? And what the empty plug coming off of it is supposed to go to? Thanks

I think I figured it out. Reverse override switch. Don't know what missing plug end is yet.

The 2 pin rubber plug is either switched battery power or battery live all the time, yes the switch is rev override.

That plug in is switched accessory power. I feed my alternator from that circuit. And yup, that broken switch is the reverse override. I have one that I'm not using. 10 bucks to cover shipping and the cost of the protected envelope and trip to the post office and its yours!

The only purpose that I can find for having this switch is for higher rpms only in 4x4 only in reverse. It's that correct?

That is my understanding........I've never had need to use it so far. The prowler backs up pretty fast as it is.
