Lock tight on clutch nut

Hey guys what kind of lock tight do i put back on the primary clutch nut? I've heard on here somewhere that you have to put the lock tight (red) on when you tighten it up. Is this right?

Thanks for all the replies guys. Adam thank you so much for all your help. I got the clutch back in today and everything went smoothly. Took it out for a quick spin and i can definately tell the difference! The torque is instant and spins the tires very quickly. In low range it is going to be amazing in the mud. It has neck jerking torque in low!
I'm very happy with the results and will definately be recommending AIRDAM clutches to all my riding buddies.
