Canopy Support, removal?????

Will removing the Canopy Support effect the integrity of the frame? I want to remove it so my extended air tube will fit without cutting any plastic.

Thanks is advance,
Bajacat

Number 18 in the picture.
It is a frame bracket that is screwed to each frame rail. The center portion of the OEM roll bar attaches to it. It has two screw mount holes that attaches the stock roll bar. It is just behind the console, above the air intake. I want to turn the air duct boot up and attach a small snorkle so the inlet will be above the constant dust flowing up into air induction system. By moving this, I will not have to cut any plastic.
By the way, I have removed the stock roll bar and added a new full roll cage so this bracket is not required anymore.

I would say it will be fine if you have changed the cage. If you have not changed the cage I would not remove it.
