What GPS do you use for riding? And Why?

I have a 2 y/o Garmin Nuvi 760. Its was like $500 when I bought it, was pretty loaded at the time. Never used it for offroading not sure if it will do what I want.

On the other hand I have a new Droid X with a huge screen and thousands of Nav and Compass apps available for it. If anyone has found a good app for droids that would be awesome.

I want to be able to track my ride, but more importantly get back to my truck if im lost in the woods. I want something off-road friendly.

What are you guys using or suggest? And any pics of your mounting set-ups in your prowler?

I don't want to spend a ton on this! I cannot get a Lowrance Baja right now. lol

Check out the Garmin Nuvi 500. It is water proof and comes pre loaded with topo maps. I use it on my dirt bike and it is great. It has all the features you need. Costco had a deal on them for $199.00 a while back. Also try GPS City.
