Wow Rick, what the heck happened? I will admit, I burned a belt in two at under 140 miles, but that was from my abuse... but those parking lot wheelies were fun.
Get an EPI Severe Duty belt, and put in the red rollers for a 700. Then go back out and enjoy.

Arctic Cat Prowler Desert Race XTZ: ITP BajaCross tires on ITP Beadlocks, Beard Super TZ Seats, Crowe 5pt harnesses, King Off-Road Racing Shocks, Custom Racing Chassis with 7 inch longer wheelbase, +5 Suspension set at 16 Front and 17 inches Rear inches travel, UTVINC did the tube bending

Not good. Seems that there are different opinions over brand of belt to run. OEM vs. Aftermarket. Daryl, have you had good luck with the EPI Belts?

I've had good luck with both OEM and EPI Belts. The EPI's seem to have a bit of an edge on the OEM, but that's for the riding conditions I encounter in the desert. They withstand heat abuse more.

I think what happened to Ricky's XTZ here is a matter of something not being put in right (at the factory), that caused the primary to seize up and bind the belt form what I can see in the photos. Definitely look at it for warranty.
