clear tube under driver side feet?

I have a 2008 xt650 and have been doing some cleaning and wiring up some accessory lights. This evening I noticed that the clear tube that is under the driver side feet area came off of whatever it is clamped to. What is this and where do I hook this back up? Thanks for the help.

You can put it back on from the bottom easy enough it goes on the Negative end of the battery facing towards the front of the car. You can pull the bottom left skid plate for more room but you should not need to.

I would recommend replacing your batter with a Gel or AGM type when you need one. No more need for the clear tube and possible dripping when you offroading. You can find some good battery info in this thread
