Won't say running

Won't stay running. Prowler 700. It has been sitting for 6 weeks. It starts and runs for 10-15 sec. and dies. If I try agaig it won't start. Let it sit for 20 minutes and starts runs for 10-15 seconds and dies. Ant ideas?

Sounds like a fuel issue if I had to guess. Does it die with hi idle rpm

Give it gas and runs for the same time. I assume there is a fuel filter but where?

Parts shows up to a certain s/n has one and before does not. It's in line just a few inches after the pump which is mounted in the tank so just above the tank I would think

I down loaded the service manual and don't see a fuel filter.

Found it hiding. Now if I take if off and turn the key on fuel should keep running. Will have to put a gas can to catch the gas. If if keeps pumping. I should just have to replace the filter?

Well if it keeps pumping we know the pump is working but we don't know if the pump is ok to give us pressure. I woud start simple and don't make a mess. Get yourself a filter kit and change it.
