tire fitment

I have a 2009 Prowler XTZ, and have been wondering. I want to go with 30" silverbacks. Do I really need to put a 2" suspension lift on or will they fit with no problems with stock suspension? I am just thinking about the lift as far as some hillclimbs on some of the trails around home. Does anyone have a 2" lift with large tires that can tell me how their rig handles on the trails and on hills. Thanks.

Thanks man. How do you like the outlaws on your prowler? I had the 29.5's on my last AC atv and liked them but was thinking about the silverbacks because of their popularity. Not many bad reviews.

Your Prowler looks bad ass too!!!

Thanks I love mine have rode on a RZR with silverbacks and there nice but they ride a lot rougher then the outlaws. My wife was scared that mine would ride bad but you cant really tell between them and the mud lites I use to have.

you can fit 30" backs by cranking the shocks all the way, but you loose suspension and they ride pretty rough. also, unless you want to be on the frame in every mud hole the backs are not the best tire. outlaws will perform better by far in the mud as they try to float better and not dig you to the bottom. they also ride smooooth. but the 31 laws will need the 2.5 lift, and some massaging on the floor. i got pics if your intreasted.

another tire to look at is highlifters radial outlaw. its an all terrain, but pretty agressive. and as short as the backs are you can get a 28 radial law and i think you would like it better. even at stated sizes you only loose 1 in of clearence, they have a 30" radial but it only comes 10'' wide. i prefer the 12" on the rear. just tossing an option for you, didnt know what all you have seen. something i forgot to say the 30" backs are very short, my fronts were just over 28" rears were a little taller.
