I've been using amsoil Synthetic Motorcycle Oil SAE 20W-50 along with the WIX filter (WIX# 57937). Also use Amsoil Severe Gear 75w140 Syn EP in the diffs.

Sounds like we need a filter cross chart under the FAQ tab. I run the wix filter because I can get them at a really good price and they are a outstanding filter. K&N are nice because they have the hex nut on the bottom, which makes it easy to remove. I always run OEM oil in my 2006 650 H1. It has the proper wet clutch additives and it makes me feel good. I am sure you can find other oil that are approved but this is what I use. As for the diff I used what weight oil is recommeded but buy it at my local auto parts store.
