Anybody have any input on an extra battery and where to mount . I want to run my extra lights, stereo . and tire inflator / deflator off a different battery then the one that is the main battery . Thought one of you might have already done this mod .

I have seen some guys put a battery inside the storage box, but you have to be willing to give up storage space.

Not a very good photo but mine is right above the receiver hitch in the back.

Thanks good idea . Looks like you just mount a battery box right above the hitch on the frame . Would work well for me since my wench is going to be mounted on a stinger . For front and rear use .

I have an 09 700 XTX, I put a second battery on the frame rail behind the driver. It tucks in beside the wheel well cover. Used the power recepticle to trigger a relay, which puts both batteries online. I'll try and post pictures.

After the first time out, I did notice the exhaust heat. I installed a heat shield. Area gets very hot! Thanks
