Machine gun noise

I have an 06 650xt, I tried to start it lastnight after its been sitting for a week and when I cranked it over it wouldnt turn and theres a machine gun sound directly under the drivers seat. Is this my solenoid?

On the starter. The battery is under the drivers seat. I would check the connections.

I would say almost definitely you have a dead battery. There are lots of good threads on here about good replacements and the part numbers as well. The machine gun noise is normal when there isn't enough juice from the battery, it's the solenoid clicking because it won't engage fully with the low power.
