What type of oil should I use in a 2009 XTZ 1000 Prowler.

Hey... Here's a link to another thread where they talked about what oil to run. I think the general consensus is to run the AC synthetic. http://www.prowlertalk.net/forums/ar...motor-oil.html

2009 Prowler 700 XTX Walker Evans Shocks,STI Roctane 27/9/14 and 27/11/14 tires,Warn skid plates,Ridgid Ind Prerunner Cage,Home made spare tire carrier,Hids high and low beams,1.5 inch wheel spacers,E Brake Alarm, Rear diff vent mod Etc. NO TURF SAVER!

Rotella t6 now, used to run Mobil 1 extended performance, no issues with either , rotella its supposed to have a higher shear rating. Here we go again

09 xtx- custom fox 2.0 air shocks- bighorn tires- custom paint- 4 seat cage built by me- soft top- twisted stitch seats- half doors- intake built by me- magnaflow exhaust built by me- carillo 4 point harnesses all around- 5 h.i.d.'s- clutch kit- dynatek- no more turf saver...tig welded now- 2" wheel spacers- ss-212 rims in black-

But is not formulated for Powersports there is a difference and Please I dont want to fight about oil, I am an Amsoil dealer but I am NOT telling people they have to use Amsoil. Just use a good Powersports oil. Do Yourself a favor NO MOBIL 1

dammit joe youre lucky i like you. apparently the motorsports oil you were using on this last ride was missing a little something. j/k well get you back up and running, i need a riding buddy!!

It was Arctic cat oil!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! No oil mixes well with dirt and dust!

No fighting just wondering a good oil I do not care about brand just wanted to know if I could use a different oil than Arcticcat. Thank you for the input.

amsoil here,just make sure what you choose has the additive for your wet clutch.

2015 A/C Sport,With a few add ons..........
