Just picked a 07 Prowler with blown motor

hello, I recently picked a 07 Prowler with a blown motor & I mean catastrophic failure, chit was torn up, so I started out on another Prowler forum and posted up so needs & questions & felt like I was talking to myself, so a board member referred me to this site, anyway I started out asking if there was a way to budget build or if anyone knew of any motors for sale & most of the replies were to just buy new which is something I wanted to avoid do to the fact that I didn't want to dump a ton of money into this project yet, so I was able to find 2 motors on craigslist for 500 bucks with 200$ shipping & hoping to get them today so I can start the R&R, here's a pic of my rig

one thing I do need is a stock exhaust slip on it has an aftermarket one now with no packing and I'm sure its going to be loud as heck, i'm looking to be dependable & not real noisy for starters I do know it has an aftermarket CDI but not sure what one, Ill get back to ya on that with some pictures as I go along with the R&R

I know a new stock slip on will set you back about $200, I seen a used one on ebay for $140 with the header.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

There ya go trying to make us young guys (well not as old anyway) feel inadequate for having a smaller one than you.

Time for me to head to the Elks Lodge and play some cards, get some supper and maybe a beer to wash it down.
