Help Installing Piston & Rings

I got a new piston and 700 overbore kit from Speedwerx for my Prowler.

I can get the top two sets of rings in by hand (compressing with fingers), but for the life of me can't get the oiler ring into the cylinder sleeve.

Any tips? Pics? ideas?

got a ring compressor ?????

if not try some auto parts stores that lend / rent tools or buy a hand model

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

they make a small ring compressor just for small engines. it's about 1.5" to 2" wid band [aprox's here] and comes in several diameters .. it has a Plier type tool to do the compression and attaches to the band on a lug / pin type clamp holder ... after the ring are in u just release the plier tool and the band slips down the rod and will open to clear and off .. like this one
http://www.summitracing.com/parts/wm...0/media/images

they also make a lower priced one for small engine, the one above is just a pic showing what I'm talking about

on edit .. here is a "small engine" one for much less $$ $20.00 ..

here is a better link

Try an extra wide Zip-Strip around ring and be gentle pushing in.

I thought about a zip tie - need to find one. The compressor I have is not very good.
