Easy Primer

After I finally had enough of wearing out my battery, or taking everything off to reach the primer, I installed a manual choke setup by my shifter. Works awesome! Just a few pumps and starts right up on first try!...Cant understand why AC couldn't have came up with this? Anyway very cheap at auto zone. Drill hole in plastic, install choke assembly, run cable to primer and use a little cable clamp.

Sedona Rip saws, Warn 3000lb winch, PIAA HID, LED aux lighting, Custom Pre Runner bumper light bar, A/C hard top, Arctic Thunder Custom Snorkel kit , AC suspension seats, Big Gun exhaust, Full Aluminum skid plates, Dynatech CDI, voltage-oil-temp gauges,

Haven't had a battery problem yet but I know what you mean, I tried installing a check valve but it didn't help much.

Doesn't make sense to have a primer where you have to pull both seats and the engine cover to use.

Any pictures of the setup? It would be nice to have something that works. I'm almost ready to install the same carb that Mike has, but just don't have the money for it right now. Too many other things to buy.....

I am having the same problem. Have tried the primer bulb, helped a little. Think I'm going to try the choke cable. Thanks for the tip.
