Are Prowlers louder than the other SxS's?

I was just curious from you guys that have experience with other SxS's (whether it being from owning one, or riding with buddies). Are the Prowlers louder than most, or just about the same? I'm talking about engine noise, whine of the belt, etc?

I have no experience with any other machines. I know the whine of the belt can get kind of noisy on my Prowler. So I was just curious how they compared to other machines.

I think the prowler might be louder than most, the rhino has a loud belt system until you give it the gas,the T-REX is pretty quite and cant tell on the rzr because the motor is back by the exhaust.mine's not all that bad it's even quieter with my cover insulated.I have never heard any of the other ones with the dog house off.I know that A/C has one of the best belt systems.

2015 A/C Sport,With a few add ons..........

yep mine was loud with stock exhaust on it. I heard all the whines and rattles. Then I put the muzzy on and all I could hear was it. no more rattles. I ride with all Polaris's and they are quite compared the prowler. My WC is better but I get suspension squeak's at low speed. At high speed all I hear is the wind. As far as the belt system AC is changing the reliability of the wet clutch system to go to the dry system. I don't mined the wet clutch system just wish it had better bottom end. may have to send it to Airdam for an adjustment. I'm rebuilding my buddies Polaris clutch next week bushings are gone belt is still good. He has 6000 miles on it with no problems till now.

I don't know about the intimidation mine seems loud only in the cab, outside it's not bad. I have been told they thought a helicopter was landing a few times.
