Rattling noise

Hi, I have a bad rattling noise in my2006, 650 prowler xt H1. It happened only in drive, in reverse its fine and its seems to be coming from the passanger side where the shifter linkage hooks up in the casing any ideas what it could be

One of the biggest rattles that's common with prowler is the rear drive line brake. This may not be your problem but if you hear it while your driving hold the brake and see if it stops. I don't notice mine in reverse, but it most noticeable when I first take off forward. In 2007 they add anti rattle springs to the brake pads but it doesn't make much difference.

I did the hose trick on my springs yesterday and quieted them down a lot.

What did you use for a hose.it helped mine alot also until I left my ebrake on again but only went 50 yards with it on part way.I would say my rotor is shot.

Yea the 650's and some of the 700's had the brake chatter problem, very annoying they make a spring kit that puts pressure downwards on your pads helps some.alot of guys say the rear rotor is not true on them.I am in the process of putting 4-wheel disc brakes on mine,I got the Idea from a member on here outwest/shane.He converted his not cheap but wont hear chatter anymore and will have better brakes.

I had some 3/4" heater hose lying around, I'm going to keep an eye on it to make sure I don't have a melt down.

The hose I used hasn't melted, you know that hose worked darn good until I left my e-brake on the other day.

If you had the loud irritating buzzer I have that wouldn't happen
