Can I ask what kind of new ride you bought? Good luck with your sale. Sounds like a nice machine.

1000 xt new baby

Bought a can am 1000 xt.I have owned a few rotax units in my years even have two airplanes with rotax engines in them and have had good luck with them the 503 in one plane has 570 hours on it and still going strong running at 6000 rpm all day long. Not that I don't like arctic cat but i am a rotax fan and my cat is a good work horse and I was just waiting for can am to get there side x side finished so I could get one and I lucked out and found one close so I stuck my foot in my mouth, and will see what the end results are.Don't have a clue why the crank went out it always had a little knock in it from the get go but just dismissed it as a typical single cylinder noise never bothered a thing, as far as performance it would blow the doors off a stock razar any day then one day it just let go and that was it, runs like new now quieter then it ever was.The 1000 xt is the first 1000 I have drove that will actually smoke the tires on asphalt and that even suprised my rider we thought the belt was slipping till we looked back.No there is nothing wrong with my cat and if I dont sell it I will have two work horses at least one of them is paid for.
