Dust Masks

Recently had a chance to try "Wolfsnout Dust Mask", I suffer from a mild case of COPD and riding trails can really take it's toll on me! Usually I'm hacking and coughing for several hours after a dust filled ride! I tried the Wolfsnout mask, and low and behold my hacking and coughing was reduced to almost nothing! I was afraid I'd have to resort to riding in the rain only! I'd heard good things about them, and I'm really happy I picked several up! Very comfortable, easy to clean and maintain!

Thanks, RD. I went to look at them and found something else that I had not known about until you posted this. That is the lawn mowing mask and goggles. I wear ATV goggles now, but the dust and weed chaff still gets in I wear a bandanna over a painter's mask and roast on warm/hot days. It looks like I need to get the Wolfsnout mask and goggles - quickly......

Update: At near $30 (with shipping), I guess I will be staying with my disposable painter masks (insert frown here).

I'm very happy with mine, and I have started to wear it when doing the lawns! A friend told me about them!

glad you found something that works for U

I have tried several from cheep to $$$ , found some cheep ones that work well for me

I buy the dust masks at Harbor freight in a box of 50 IIRC . and the are under $10.00 [don't remember as the last time I bought 4boxes and have many left yet] ... they are the painters type and expand to cover nose to under the chin ... again work well and cheep disposable masks

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

Garage
Thanks for the tip on these. I just ordered a few pair.. I spent the last week chocking on dust ripping the prowler around the trails by the cabin. With the full windshield and the open back on the cab the dust swirls in BAD. Hope I can tighten it down small enough for my daughter to use as well.
