Talking 650xt seat and cage lowering progress

I was able to heat the gas filler trim and mold it real nice.

What is the best adapter for the clutch intake and exhaust to go pvc?

I was able to move shifter down enough to use the cowl with out modification.

I still got some of the details to finish up.
Seat belts, shifter linkage, rear splash guard, snorkels, move winch and reverse override buttons as they don't fit with engine cowl lowered.

Can I bypass the reverse override with a jumper?

Pretty fun and exhausting project!!!

You would be better off buying an aftermarket CDI box. It will get rid of the reverse override, better timing, another 1000 rpms. Your project looks great.

I would go with the CDI also. I dont know if you can jumper it but its worth a try. for the clutch I would use either the boots you have or go to a plumbing supply house and ask for mission bands or heavy equipment supply and get some big hose and clamps.
