Park brake rotor

I was going through the parts search for the 2009 XTZ 1000 to see which parts have been superseded and noticed there is a new part number for the parking brake rotor. This is the rotor that has caused many fires after folks have left their park brake on even just a few clicks. Does any one have any info as to what was changed with the rotor if anything? i was just curious if the material has been changed or thickness etc... Thanks

Yeah I'm sure the parts pricing did increase just like the price for the new XTZ did.

I hear you and that's why the guy that is running Arctic Cat needs to evaluate the way he or she is doing things in my opinion. Raising prices isn't the long term fix for this USA company. I don't want to get started so I will leave it at that.
