any one here have emergency flight insurance

My Son crashed hard riding the Virginia City GP on his 2 wheeler ... the care flight was $20,000 .. lucky for him his work insurance covered him. [he's ok, broken collar bone and some other stuff ribs ect.] anyway got to thinking with all my body issues and age it might not be a bad idea to look into some insurance coverage ... through my membership in North Idaho ATV they offer a membership deal through the local careflight which has reciprocal arrangements through many other companies in other states as well as in state co.'s .. coverage for family was only $150.00 for three years. IMHO CHEEP deal.
Just thought that some of ya'll might be interested as an expense like that would not sit well with most family men. ... so check your local companies / clubs offers for availability iff'in you are interested.

OH BTW .. coverage is not limited to ATV/UTV use , also car / truck driving.

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us

Gary

I wish your boy a speedy recovery. I have the insurance through my company. I hope I never have to use it. I also use a Spot 2 locating device when I ride and I have the GEOS search and rescue insurance for that as well. I always hope for the best and plan for the worst.

2009 Prowler XTZ 1000 with a few modifications. Needs paint & powder coating.

Just got the Spot 2 today been meaning to pick it up for a year now .. with a new ride season thought it's a wise move as I get real out there sometimes , north Idaho has hundreds of miles of trails .. some well mapped and many un marked, and in hunting season i get deeeeep woods

CALSTAR in California, They also have reciprocal services. $45/year for family and no out of pocket expense. Whatever insurance does not pay is forgiven by CALSTAR. Have had it many years and is very CHEAP insurance. It is not specific to any mode of transportation.
