If I had to guess I would say it landed on the cage first. And his skull hit the ground. Idk it almost looks like the cage might have got him.

I added a 1.75" DOM bar on the the cage on both sides ... top front to rear on the outside edge at the very top where the factory rollbar bends, and a 1 3/4" x 3" sq. tube 120 wall seat belt bar behind the seats.

between the three bars the factory sq. tube roll cage in MUCH stronger .. I didn't like the X brace as the only top connection leaving the outside front to rear unprotected .. I'm a tall guy and didn't think my head needed to be the roll cage. IMHO a helmet is a no brainer .. ya don't get in the seat without one ! .. I have been on my side once and twice where trees were holding me from going on over .. the plastic roof was holding the rig from going to the X-brace on the tree each time ..

name is Gary or hey you if ya forget

2009 Prowler XTZ , couple things added here and there
'83 CJ7 / SBC + whole lot added here and there
'01 Dodge / Cummins / Dually, a ton of stuff added here and there

INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE NEWBIES ...
1. Bring in a good load of firewood for the pit
2. start the morning coffee , strong but not burnt / boiled down , IMPORTANT start it early as many of us old farts get up early !!
3. sit a spell and swap some lies with the best of us
