Ok, You vote more than once! so what you do is, vote for the size of the material. And then vote for the best material.

keep in mind cost, and power to weight issues and ofcourse what looks cool.

FYI here just saying a difference from the rhino crowd;

I noticed something interesting here guys.

I like this answer from a friend of mine BigJim

I will get slammed for this....But if i were doing another cage it would be 1.75 chromo .083 main tubes, 1.5 cross tubes in .065 and then all the small braces and such as the A in the window 1.0 in .065 or smaller. I would be looking for light weight. Durability would not be my main key points. If i roll it I'd build another. That should hold up in any normal circumstances. Weight is horsepower and my rig and my ass needs to be 300 pounds lighter than it is.

I agree with him.Now with that being said some people have to have something that will take a few roll overs because they can't just build another one.What alot of people miss is that you have a heavy cage up in the air like that it will effect how the thing handles.Especially on the ac it is up in the air any way and that has more leverage on sway and could even cause a roll over.
Alot of people will say well I don't want my cage to fold up or bend if i roll this thing over.What they don't seem to understand is that the rest of the chassis will fail or bend too.The material that big jim is talking about using is gonna get it done.And it will save your ass.

Sounds like the 1 1/2 chrome molly is fine if the cage is designed right.

Any quesses on the wieght difference for the 1 1/5 to the 1 3/4?

Roll Cage

I built mine using 1 1/2" .095 4130 Chromemoly. Corner braces are also 4130 but 1" .125 because I had it. For the weight and speed it will go I think it is way over kill which is a good thing.
