I still have it, only put a few hundred on it this year at camp, work has been super busy and I'm beat at the end of the day. Working on finishing up the barn and I just sold my Big Cummins Powered Pickup, just looking to finish up some long-term projects so I can go play more. Just over 2k on the prowler.

From what I remember, it is a first class rig! Very nice in every regard! Did you ever finish the alternator project? Mine seems to be working flawlessly! Fan used to drop the voltage to around 12 even when it came on, and with the alternator charging it barely drops at all, I see about 14 even on the voltage gage!

Not finished yet, I have to use a big pulley on rear diff and now with the Muzzy Duals in there I need to figure a spot for the alternator unit.

I used a 6" pulley on the drive shaft, could have went up to an 8" before I'd worry about hitting something on the trail. 3 to 1 ratio seems to provide ample charging. I check my batteries at the end of a day, and both are in the high 12.7 and up area. I run with my lights on and belt fan running on the street, and have not seen any low voltage! Great project, glad you mentioned that you were going to do yours, give me the spark to finish mine!

Not sure! More than likely start playing with the suspension, want to be able to dirt track it at will! I think I'll have to try the locked rear end soon, it should change the way I drive it somewhat. Turf Saver is still going strong, so I hate to remove it! Just changed to lube in it, and no metal particles, lube looked somewhat dirty, but not bad!

I have the 8" currently, just need to sit back with a couple of cold ones and ponder the mounting location sometime when not so busy.

I picked a spot next to the engine on the passenger side, but the 700 is more than likely more compact. I though about putting it in front of the engine mounted backwards, and then trimming the floor to fit it and installing a console to cover it. Tough to find space and still make it serviceable! The 8" pulley would give me about 3/4" clearance above the skid plate.

Waitin on one more special tool and then it's gettin tore down I can see a gear chewed up on the shift shaft I think..when I run a inspection camera in thru the oil filler hole. Will prolly dedicate Saturday or sunday to tearing it apart and hopefully will be a simple fix once it's apart
